Indo joined our team in March as the Tax Time Outreach Coordinator. She assists our office during the tax season by building relationships and assisting tax payers with CASH Oregon. She helps tax payers pull their credit, sign up for our financial education workshops, open prepaid cards for their tax returns and much more! We are thrilled to have her on our team!
What drew you to this Tax Time Financial Coach position at Innovative Changes?
Gaining more experience in customer service and hands on interactions with data systems to input data are what drew me to this position. I feel like a professional woman when I'm behind a computer. I also enjoy assisting customers to find solutions to their needs. This position has both of the things that I love, so i knew from the description that this job was a fantastic choice.
What were you doing before joining IC$?
Before joining IC$, I worked as an assistant teacher at KinderCare Learning Center in downtown Portland.
Where are you originally from and what brought you to Portland?
I was born and raised in Portland. I love it here, definitely a Keep Portland Weird fan.
What does financial empowerment mean to you?
Financial empowerment means having the access or knowledge to be able to put yourself in a stable position with your finances.
What are you most excited about in your new position?
I am most excited to gain more exceptional customer service experience. With the consistent interactions with people both in person and on the phone or email. Those skills are becoming way more persistent and strong.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my rare spare time I like to take a light workout or play a pickup game of volleyball.
