Join us for the first ever Innovative Changes Credit Boot Camp! This series of workshops will help you build healthy credit, avoid common pitfalls, and fix your credit problems yourself, without pricey credit repair companies. This pilot series is by invitation only. It is being offered at a discounted rate of $10 for all 4 classes, and must be paid for in advance to guarantee a spot. If you need to pay by cash, please visit our office during regular business hours.


Class descriptions:

Part 1: Intro to Credit Building, Wednesday January 11, 2017 6-7PM: 

Learn what credit is, why it is important, the difference between credit building and credit repair, how to pull and read your own credit report, and the basics of credit scores.

Part 2: Disputing Errors, Wednesday January 18th, 2017 6-7PM: 

Are there items on your credit report that look unfamiliar or have wrong information? Learn your rights and how to correct mistakes. Includes basic information on combating identity theft.

Part 3: Negotiating with Creditors, Wednesday January 25th, 2017 6-7PM:

This workshop covers what you need to know about talking to creditors, negotiating payment plans, and making settlements. Use role playing to practice your new skills and gain confidence!

Part 4: Monitoring and Protecting your Credit Wednesday February 1, 2017 6-7PM: 

Now that you know all about building and repairing your credit, this workshop covers best practices for protecting your credit, monitoring it regularly, and additional credit tips.

You are eligible for these classes if you:

  • Are willing to share & learn from others

  • Can attend all 4 workshops in the series

  • Are willing to give feedback to help us improve future workshops

  • Are ready to take action on getting in control of your credit

Due to the limited number of seats, registration is required. Use the registration links on the calendar events to register for the Lloyd Center workshops.
