When you contract Innovative Changes for financial education we will facilitate a workshop or seminar for up to 20 participants at a time and location that works best for the population you are serving. We will provide all materials and supplies for the participants and can provide promotional materials to you as well.
Financial Household Resiliency (FHR) 5-part Workshop Series

Public Workshops: Innovative Changes offers our Financial Household Resiliency workshop series at the Lloyd Center every other month. You can find the schedule of upcoming classes and have clients register for the classes on our website. These workshops are open to the public at a cost of $15 a class, $50 for the series and scholarship are available for those 50% or below Portland Median Income. As a referring partner, you are welcome to refer your clients to our classes. If they are required to attend as part of your program, we will bill you for the classes, rather than the client.
Contract us for workshops: The cost is $1250 for the series or $250 a workshop, with materials and supplies included for up to 20 participants. Snacks and childcare costs are not included. Other Contract Opportunities:
In addition to our FHR series, we have developed seminars on specific topics of interest to our clients and partners. These interactive seminars are one hour long and delve deeper into financial management topics. Please note that some seminars are most effective held during a certain time of year, and some seminars are targeted for specific populations. Curriculum Development/Refinement for Topics of Interest or for Culturally Specific Communities
We are available to adapt our curriculum to meet the needs of the culturally specific communities that you serve. This usually involves hosting focus groups, meeting with key informants and adapting our activities or creating new ones to be culturally relevant and effective to a specific population.
Financial Household Resiliency Training of the Trainer: If you are outside of the Portland-Metro area, we can train your staff to deliver our financial education curriculum. In this six-hour training, we will walk you through the eight hours worth of class activities, provide you with a copy of our curriculum, a user-friendly facilitators guide and evaluation tools. Financial Coaching Training of the Trainer: If you are outside of the Portland-Metro area, we can train your staff as financial coaches. In this six-hour training, we will walk you through a coaching guide full of resources and activities for helping your clients achieve their financial goals.
